Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectral and micro-chemical analysis of residues on archaeological finds was carried out. The presence of gold, copper zinc alloy, iron, metal salts and silicates in crucibles was identified. During the investigation the traces of polysaccharides in pots and drinking horn, resin of coniferous tree, bee’s wax and aluminum silicate on amber disk as well as some pitch on the bone fish-spear were established.
Obtained results can provide significant information for archeology researchers and confirm some predictions about the use of archaeological objects well enough.
